Youtube - Expectations V/S Reality [Drawback of Youtube]


YouTube is the second largest company in the world after Google.

It has the largest database after Google and Facebook.

Whenever You have to Search for something, you first search on Google than on YouTube (isn't you).

This show the need and popularity of YouTube.

YouTube has started in 2005 and 100 hours of videos uploaded each minute.

The first video published on YouTube was by Jawed Published on 23rd April 2005.

YouTube Also Launched Its Partner Program on 14 September 2011 In India. Then It opens a new way to earn money.

YouTube Partner Program is so much popular as you don't have to pay for Website Hosting and Domain name.

  • Domain - Name of your website
  • Hosting - Where your website files stores

No Doubt YouTube is the best platform for the Creators. But like Anything is not perfect, YouTube Also Have Its limitations.

Limitations Of Youtube

1.Trending Page

As a creator in India, You should worry about YouTube trending page. The Trending page on YouTube is full of rubbish content.

The videos in the trending page are not deserving there.

That is a demotivating thing for the YouTube creator who works very hard but didn't get a place in trending page.

YouTube should thing over to make the platform better.

2.YouTube Partner Program

As I have Already Told You that You can Also Earn Money by YouTube But It has critical terms and conditions. Key points about the limitations of the YouTube partner program are
  • Low CPC (COST PER CLICK)
  • No CPM
  • Approval is Not Easy 
  • AdSense is the only monetizing method
  • The AD appears Only 30 to 40% times on your video
Apart from that AdSense is the most popular way to monetize your website/blog or YouTube channel.

3. Not Responding Subscribers

Most of the YouTube channel has faced this problem in past or may Face in Future. 

Suppose you have 800k subscribers but did you get 800k views on every single video.

Probably not.

Then the rest subscribers don't have any importance to your channel.

YouTube doesn't have any policies on removing inactive subscribers
